If your not doing a SD tune. And you are running a low and high level boost. You need to tune the truck for low boost with no meth and get you AFR right through a full pull. Once you get that then you set you high boost to what you want to run. Fill your tank about 1/4 full of 100% meth make a run. Then keep adding distilled water till your AFR is very close to what you run during a full pull.
I run a AFR of 11.5 on low boost. At 8psi I had to mix 70% water to 30% meth to get my AFR 11.5 with a #10 jet.
If you are running high boost all the time then you adjust your meth to water % to get the right AFR for the boost you want to run.

Your truck isn't maxing the maf out, your truck is flowing more air than the PCM tables allow. Got to the air tables in the application your using to tune with and increase them. This will keep your truck from going into limp mode.

Thanks again for the replys. I am going back Thursday to retune armed with the info you guys were nice enough to share with me. I believe we can get there this time, and hopefully do some dyno pulls with the wideband and full boost. Thanks again!!

Yeah, I guess it does move more air, but all things considered it still appears that the factory MAF is large enough for 7-8lbs of boost. Many people are telling me that my problems are simple and related to simply increasing the airflow tables. Later today I'll find out and post the outcome and what was changed so maybe someone else can benefit from the trial and error. My nozzle is about 4" from the elbow, right before the throttle body. But I will take a look to see if the wires are at the 6 o'clock position in relation to the tube. Thanks for all the input!!

Re-tuned today, and what a difference! Now the only problem I have is the slight stutter above 5lbs. I installed the plugs (NGK TR6) and gap that STS recommended, but maybe I am having a problem with blowing out the spark. He increased the airflow tables respective to my problems and maxed the ETC table, and so far so good. I will start a thread related to the plugs.

I do have the factory wires, and that could be a problem area. It was suggested to me to shorten the gap and go from there, but it was also suggested to swap the factory wires for some Magnecor wires. Hopefully I will get a chance to do the plugs this weekend.
