Default STS oil pump

heys guys, how exactly do i test to see if my pump kicks into high mode. a little lost on this, thanks

you take a wire and jump the switch that is hooked up to the solenoid valve on your engine manifold.just take the wire and touch the 2 screws together where the blue and brown wires connect

I just posted on your other thread. What did you get with your kit?

Did it include the wiring, pressure switches, installation manuls, etc?

The solenoid valve and hoobs switch are located on the passenger side of the engine between the intake manifold and the head. the hoobs switch is connected to the nipple at the rear of the throttle body and senses boost > 1 psi. This operates the solenoid and puts the oil return pump on high speed. The hoobs switch has 2 brass screws and to test you jump a wire across them with the engine running. Get a friend to listen and see if the return pump speeds up.
You should be able to hear and feel the solenoid click when you jump a wire across the hoobs switch.
