If it fires up quick then it doesn't sound like a regulator problem.

Touch your tongue to the positive and negative terminals on the pump while someone cranks it and see if it has voltage.

Sorry, don't have anything else constructive for this thread. I will leave now.

And unfortunately, it looks like the regulator isn't the only thing that will cause a slow startup. Replaced my FPR day before yesterday and I still have to wait a few seconds before fuel pressure is primed up, even after sitting for only a couple of hours.

I have a return system and, I have this issue but its not consistent. Today I was going about 10mph and then punched it. My fuel pressure went from 55 or so to 28. Of course I let off the gas. Other times its perfect. No rhyme or reason. I think its voltage related.

add 10% to the pe enrich tables, and change the multiplier to 4.0, gets you a safe .950 reading on the 02's across the board. done deal.

you need to check the TSB's for the fuel pump on your truck. Tap into that service dept at your dealer.

Jake how did the converter lock up feel on that last tune better? The truck definitely looked a lot better on the logs today. Just ignore the fuel pressure gauge
