Chance the 7.400'' pr's and ls7 lifters could be a problem.

Okay I'll check lifter preload. Cuz that wud be the easiest rather than changing springs and that not being the problem. But even if i need let's say 7.350s wud 50thousands matter that much? I thought u cud get away with a "little" bit of play I'n there

Im running a TU1 cam, specs are 225/225 .581/.581, LS7 lifters, 7.4" pushrods and dual PRC springs and dont have any problems. I dont think your PR length is the problem. Put some dual springs on it and see if it fixes it. if it doesnt at least you know you have eliminated that possibilty and now you have stiffer dual springs which is always good with boost

I definitely wanna change to double springs. I'm just trying everything else possible before i have to spend money and tear into it again. Also my tuner said he gets the lean spike to 12.4 on afr on the drivers side.. Wud kb racing turbo kit cause alot of backpressure therefore making my single springs not do there job?

FWIW, I used 7.350" pushrods to get the correct preload with LS7 lifters. I can't remember the preload exactly though.

Not the kit but a small turbine wheel in the turbo can cause power to pk early but won't cause engine to misfire. You really need to check that prelaod before spending any $ on springs. I run mid 9's with Isky single springs and same cam. My truck pulls past 6500 RPM thru the traps.

Well i did some digging and thought I'd update and be more specific on my springs. My open seat pressure on my single springs are only 318lbs.. And even the comp single 918s have 365lb open seat pressure.. So now with that being said, I'm gonna get new springs. But does it make more sense that I'm having valve float issues? While I'm changing springs I'll b checking pushrod length while I'm at it.

Thanks guys

Did you check your closed seat pressure?
