Default Speed density yet??

Well truck is up and running and I'm wanting to get the tune safer before making any more pulls. Did a couple wot pulls with 03sierraslt just for some logs while running the Magnuson tune... feels great but definitely needs cleaned up as I'm probably over 10psi lol.

Is it worth going speed density at this point or should I just stick with the MAF?

Specs:
4.8 liter, MP112, 90mm J tube and LS7 throttle body, 3.2" pulley (I think stock 4.8 pulley is supposed to be 3.8" )

is the MAF not maxed out? or do u have it scaled? 10 psi seems to be the limit for the stock one. I would go SD no questions, a lot safer and more consistent

I came very close to to 12kHz limit at just 6psi, but mine's a head/cam 5.3L.

So I went with COS from EFILive and am running OLSD now. So far I don't see any benefit of SD over MAF other than allowing for more mass flow. But then again I just started with it so I'm sure there is much to learn.

All stock 4.8 @ 10-12psi shouldn't max the MAF. I'll have to see what it's hitting in a scan. I would run the MAF if its not maxed.
