Default Soon will be waking up the Procharger!

Ok officially excited now. Forum member Supercharged Tahoe SS and I have consumated a deal whereby I send him my custom sub enclosures, subs and amp, and in return he is sending me a Yank 3000 Torque Converter. So I cannot wait to see what a difference this make in the pickup of the Escalade - I know I have been somewhat underwhelmed thus far up to 3000 rpm.

Just waiting to hear from Allen about getting a new tune sent out as well, and then it is pop in the converter and the new pcm, and screaming off we go. Just in time for winter . Oh well, good news, they now make 20 inch snow tires so may be able to fit some grip around my rotors!

At any rate, as someone else said about the higher stall torque converter, hope this turns my frown upside down!

Will update as the converter comes in and get that puppy installed.

My procharged rig will have a VIG 3200 triple disk by the end of next week. I'm hoping to wake mine up as well. Let me know what you think about yours.

Will do - hoping for sub 6 second 0-60 at a minimum. Seems modest, but having trouble breaking 7 seconds at the moment.

mine is around 6.5 with the procharger now with 100% TM. I think you should do even better that you think.

Hope you are right. If I sneak down to low 5 second 0-60 I will be insane with glee. Supercharged Tahoe SS tells me his ride pulled really hard with the Yank so I am really pumped!

Yes I know when first installed a converter it was a 2600 and made big difference with the Procharger, than I went to a 3000 and it put a bigger smile on my face. Now with my new motor the new stall should be around 3200-3400 which should be about perfect for what i want.

For the record, Canada Post is officially pissing me off now.

Supercharged Tahoe SS mailed the parcel on November 5 and it is still not here. I wonder if someone in the system helped themselves to my Yank or WTF happened.

I know they have a partial strike going on right now, so maybe they are screwing up deliveries on purpose or something, but I f'ing hate waiting!!!!! AAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

And of course now it is snowing, after I had all of November with no snow and nice cold air to try out that new stall, if it would have come.

NOT HAPPY.
