Headers and a built trans will hold ya for a while.

 

Are you going to do the tuning yourself? A Wideband O2 would be a good idea along with various gauges to start with.

 

well Magna does the tune, i am also looking a black bear tune however, the 6sp transmission should hold up, well it better

 

Agreed! Headers are a must..the wideband to make sure your safe..a fuel pressure gauge, and of course a boost/vac gauge

 

looking into a wideband and a few other gauges. I'm a little hesitant on the headers at the moment, though they are planned farther down the road, i am looking for a good transmission shop in case that day comes.

 

Where are you located? As far as transmissions I blew my stock 60E with shift kit and servos with 16,000 miles on the clock about three weeks after going to a smaller pully and tune. So I would plan on replacing the tranny eventually. I went with Phoenix Transmissions in Weatherford Tx. great customer service and I have beat the hell out of my 4L80E for over 50,000 miles with no trouble.

Theres always FLT to the right also.

In your neck of the woods, I'm sure good tuners are a dime a dozen.......just kidding. Must be some awesome country! Is your tranny based on the '60 or the '80? I'm not up on the new stuff.
