Small turbo build what do you guys think?

I'm thinking the Turbo will choke the motor.408ci is pretty big to be fed by a small 76mm turbo. Will probly make real good low end but fall off hard in the higher rpm areas.Hopefully it doesn't put too much pressure on the exhaust valves.

A 76 is pretty decent for 6.0 cubes, but I definitely could see it choking on the 408. They are exhaust pulse MONSTERS -- aka breathing machines on both sides of the cylinder.

If you haven't purchased the turbo yet, I'd listen to Don here. Parish had great luck with a PT88, and I know Don has several customers running bigger BW units (s88 and... s91s Don?)

Thanks guys on the compliments on the clean shop. My partner is pretty **** retentive as far as things being clean. (Trust me, if two hose clamps don't line up correctly, he freaks out)
As for James truck, is just wrapping up its stay here. (She is getting aligned today, and her photoshoot with the Model is tomorrow, before I bring it back to James)
As far as the Turbo goes.... yes the T76 will run out on this truck, but right now it runs on 100% pump gas, spools amazing, and has now power losses upstairs. The boost controller holds her perfect, and all around its just a great running truck. The flowmaster was the bottle neck in the system and was a cause for great frustration, but all of that was taken care of with the large magnaflow taking over duties.
If James ever gets tried of the power level its at now, he knows the steps to make with it next. Right now its a joy to drive, and a joy knowing you can drive down the highway getting 16 MPG average even with the heavy wheels and big motor. Yet destroy all the tires from a 15mph roll if you wanted too.
Thanks to this truck I finally have convinced my GF to trade in her dang Jeep Liberty, and move to the world of LS based power in an SUV. and good gas mileage.
I'll post more photos after the shoot tomorrow evening. Thanks all,
EA
