Anyway, not sure of the cam, custom grind from Comp cams, but the boost should be a conservative 15#'s. daily driver...
Forged pistons rods etc.. still postin pics..

Everything has been balanced, if I could get bigger pics on here you could see it but the pistons, crank, connecting rods have been balanced.
I believe the compression is going to be around 8.5:1. Should be able to run alot of boost once I can afford some aftermarket heads. Any suggestions on the heads?

Depending on the heads and cam you run I would guess 7-800RWHPMAX with the T76 @15LBS on a 408. You should be able to get near 1000 with a larger PT88, and 20LBS. I don't really see the extra CI's making any more HP, it will just make it alittle easier. After playing with a T76 on my 6.0L at high altitude, 15-16LBS is all it will make. I think you will be maxing that T76 at around the same boost on your 408 at sealevel. If your converter works really well, and everything is dialed in, I can see you running really low 11's, maybe even high 10's.

Dont forget this is an SUV and it weights over 5500lbs i have 24 inch rims on it. (100lbs per wheel/tire)so there is some MEATunder all four, so it should hook up a little. .lol
As far as maxing out the turbo. I have read specs on the turbo and it says its good for 1150HP. IS that not true?
I think you are just screwed cuz the high altitude. The guy that is doin the build says 20lbs easy from the 76. The 88 would bring lag problems wouldnt it?
oh and its full time AWD with the power sucking 4L80E under there too.

. . . hanging out for more progress pics !
