Thumbs down side mount whipple with meth 220iats!

i'm racking my brain as to why my iat's are sooo freaking high. its 12#. cruising around temps are 130-170, hammer it and they sky rocket to 220. i've got the meth spraying a good 6" before the iat sensor and have the sensor in the manifold where the evap was supposed to be and i've got the biggest nozzle that came with the snow kit. any ideas? do I need meth and change the discharge port to the passenger side and run an intercooler?

I had my brother's truck with a mp112 with meth, dual heat exchangers (intercooled)...and with an ice box. Regular drivin was at 120's being 80's ambient...wot went up to 160s in a full track pass.
With ice in one full run would still be from 90s to 120s ....the drag having to change ice on every run though..

Try running dual nozzles. One before the blower and one after. It may help keep the blower itself cooler and in turn help IAT's.

Find out what size the nozzle is. Also what are you running in the meth kit?

Id look at your meth system again and definitely consider adding an intercooler.

Also, that intake tube looks restrictive as hell, I'd imagine there's a few degrees to be had with designing that a little different with bigger tubing.

Only thing to do is add an intercooler or get rid of it. I had one. It was worthless. I sold it and went turbo. Although I am completely out of the fast truck game now.
