Default Should fan come on all the time with TVS 1900?

Today and yesterday were relatively hot days (approx 80 F, 24 C). When driving the Denali even short distances, it seemed like the under hood fan was blowing like a jet engine constantly. I don't seem to recall this before. The only thing different is that I have hooked up the towing wires for the 7 pin and trailer power to the fuse box (they come from factory not connected, so I found out).

It would not be that causing the fans to blow so much would it???!!! I am going to 3 hour highway trip tomorrow, and back, hope the fans blowing all the way is not a bad thing.

Have others had this issue? Tried turning A/C off to see if this would help but did not seem to. Bizarre.

I really wonder why anyone lives up here. We probably get around 6 good weeks of weather in the June - August window. July is the only month where I have not seen snow, although snow in June or August is pretty rare.

But that is the pain of living in the Great White North.

107 - turn on the air! I guess that is kind of similar to when we are -40 in the winter. Instead of running from the warm house to the warmed car to the warm office building, you do the same but with A/C providing the comfort.

I chatted with my brother tonight, who has had a lot of 6.2 L through his fleet at work, and he recalls the fan running an awful lot as well. Must be a new GM thing, because I sure don't remember it running so much with my 6.0 L vehicles.

Is your engine coolant temp gauge working? When I installed my headers I knocked the plug for the engine coolant sensor loose from the head. My fans were doing the same thing.
