Default S475 VS s472sxe
Looking for a consensus, on a sbe 5.3 with a JFR 218 cam running 15-20 psi would the billet t4 s472sxe with the 87 wheel out do the cast s475/83 t4? Sharing any experiences would be appreciated.

I don't have any actual first hand experience here... so theres that lol.

BUT I did have a 369SXE and that little turbo was a beast. I think the 72sxe flows more than the 75 as its cast. The larger exhaust housing will make it more efficient as well.

Well here’s my take, larger exhaust wheel is a plus. Compressor wheel does outflow the cast 75 and with it’s lighter weight it should come on a bit harder. All makes sense on paper.
