Default S/c 5.3 Toyota almost ready for mud

I finally got to drive/ log my toyota after a frame off rebuild this year. Fresh5.3, ls6 cam, Mp112, 3.2 pulley, Block huggers, 2.5 duals with H-pipe,two chambers, 4L80E, 1 ton axles 5.13 gears, 44" tires, EFILive. Timing at WOT seems to be about 18.5 most of the time and AFR is 10:1. I will work on leaning it out this week, just wondering if it will take any more timing and if going to 11.5 AFR will give me any NOTICABLE power? Thanks for any input!

Thanks guys. They are 44" boggers. Also what would yall set the rev limiter to? Its a fresh stock rebuild with ARP mains, rods, and head bolts. What is it safe to spin a 5.3 to and where do yall think itll quit making power with that blower and cam?

Yes, you will notice a difference between 10:1 and 11.5:1

How much boost are you running?

If you plan to hold WOT for extended periods of time (like trudging through a mud hole) I would keep it a bit rich to be safe.

Not sure on boost yet. The needle on my gauge is somehow out of line. Shows vacuum with engine off an close to 30in at idle so it never shows boost. I absolutely plan on VERY long wot periods. What would be a good reccomendation for wot afr?. Also last night i realized i wont be able to use the rev limiter when i was logging. Rev limiter = super duper lean. Do I need to raise it high enough so that I will never hit it? Im almost out of time. Mud rides are christmas eve day and new years day. For me christmas eve will be more test and tune and new years will be all out, if it scaters it scaters. I will be the only one out of thousands at the mud hole with a lap top in thier truck

nice. sounds like youll be hitting some holes pretty hard. im sure you are aware of it but try to keep the mud and water away from the motor if you can. easier to clean and also less wear and tear on parts. well if you raise the limiter up so far you dont hit it you take a very good chance on over spinning the motor and the blower. might try to set it where power just starts to fall off and add a shift light. that way when you hit a hole you dont have to keep looking at the tach all the time.
