I believe the 07 and below "classic" body style computer operating system will not support the 2 bar sensor. The nnbs 07 and up computer (which the roush kit was intended for) will support the 2 bar sensor.
I think if you can find the right tuner, a custom operating system can be loaded on the nbs "classic" computer.

My 04 is 2bar, you just have to install a 2bar operating system with the tuning software.

The pcm in a 07 classic wont take a 2 bar. So the 06 and 07 guys are forced to use a 1 bar and do a MAF tune, just found this out.

??? Say what?

The stock map and 2 bar map sensor are physically identicle. I use the GM one, same one the cobalt ss and some other gm cars use.

Yes, you can use the factory map sensor and keep your MAF, till about 9-10 psi

Then its better to go to a SD ( speed density) tune that requires a 2bar map sensor.

You dont need the TMAP style sensor that kit talks about, its only for the 07.5 up NNBS trucks.

Tell the shop thats working on it for you its not rocket science.

Bud, im not sure if your getting it, so im going to try and explain it for you again, no disrespect intended, just so we are on the same page.

To use a 2 bar map sensor:

1. It plugs in the exact same way as a stock 1 bar MAP.

2. You need tuning software to convert your tune from a MAF ( Mass air flow) calibrated to using a 2 bar MAP sensor calibrated tables.

The 2 bar map has more resolution, lets you fine tune the fueling and timing for each pound of boost.

The MAF tables must be fooled so much especially as you run more boost, that it is just a better way to precisely tune your vehicle by deleting the MAF and using a 2 bar MAP.

To install your TVS 1900, with 2 bar MAP,

You will need a GM 2 bar map sensor.
You need to find the inlet air temp sensor wires, the sensor is in the MAF, IIRC they are brown and black, you will snip these wires from the plug that connects to the stock MAF, stop there.

You Need to buy an IAT sensor ( Inlet air temp), then drill and tap your blower manifold, and install the new sensor.

Run those temp sensor wires you cut off the MAF harness, and connect them to your new IAT sensor.

Install your new 2 Bar map sensor where the stock MAP sensor was.

Have someone who can tune set you up with a 2 bar SD ( speed density) tune.

Lastly, enjoy the crisp response and power you will have!!

Please, any questions PM me and i will give ya my number.

Also again, YOU DO NOT NEED a TMAP sensor on a 99-07 classic style truck.
