I've heard some people swear by those ultra grip type pulleys and some call them "belt shredders". I guess maybe it depends on if your pulleys are lined up good or something.

If your pulleys are lined up correctly they are a very nice piece. I've went to them a few times to fix belt slip. They will wear out the belt a bit quicker though.
