I figured just thought I'd ask...

How did u wire the pump.. Is it a manual switch for the pump or turn key..

The pump is ran off the key through a relay, i figured this way it would be less likely to forget to turn it on, i also have a autometer warning lamp mounted on my tach, its set at 18 psi so if a issue developes i will know fast!

Nice... Ima have to do a lil research before I wire it up

looks sweet no doubt , but kind defeats the purpose of having a truck. does the inter-cooler actually cool the air back there?

LS1DIME 02-01-2010 02:08 PM

Hey it only hauls ass, thats the way i look at it! I measured the temp of the inlet and outlet of the intercooler after a few 0-100 pulls with a infered gun and it ways always atleast 20 degrees difference!!

idahoblkss 02-01-2010 04:04 PM

with the turbos in the back like that , it probably is much coolerair to begin with then a front mount.

LS1DIME 02-01-2010 07:45 PM

That was one of the advantages i studied while planning my project, the under hood space and temp is amazing while the turbos recieve nice cool air too, but getting the heat to the turbos was a concern, i wrapped my exhaust completely from front to back, seems to work cause the turbo spool so fast, its been a fun build!!

ONLYA4.8L 02-01-2010 08:28 PM

Gonna have to wrap mine.. The turbine side is 1.14 a/r for my silverado.. If anything my 01 can have a remote mounted system..

LS1DIME 02-01-2010 08:47 PM

The wrap lowers the surrounding temps of the exhaust and keeps the heat in for the turbos so its win win!! Only downfall is the cost!!!
