Remote mounted turbo in bed
I have a 99 scsb. Its got a lil 4.8 in it and wanna put a remote system.. This ome is my dd... It has a tonneau cover and was thinkin of cuttin a hole in the bottom of the bed so the turbo will not suck up water if I go through a puddle.. Ill was thinking of making an intake hole in the front of the bed between the cab and bed.. Any suggestions or ideas

it's been done before if thats what you're wanting to know. i know of an old ford with twins in the bed

Yea, too bad you couldn't look a few threads down.... If you are talking about mounting the turbos in the bed. An air filter mounted in the bed has been done too. Even an air filter in the toolbox....

^ thats a cools ass little truck!
|
You gotta love all of the room you still have under the hood. Cool set up.
I'd love to do something like that, if I could make it take up less room in the bed. |
That is pretty sick.. Not gonna lie

Thanks Guys for the comments, yes the room in the bed has shrunk but with my wilwood underdash brake setup the underhood area is wide open, this truck gets so much attention, i cant go anywhere with out alot of questions!
