I am in the process of installing my new engine and Vortech supercharger. I was told by Justin at Black Bear Performance to relocate my IAT. He gave me a part number for a harness to relocate it. My question is how do you remove the stock IAT from your MAF? Or do you get another IAT and install it that way? Thanks

Sorry to bring up an old thread but is there anyone that has done this and maybe made it a sticky? Or just have a simple write up? I was really just needing to know which wires and IAT to use. Also where is the best place to mount it?

 

Get the MSD sensor from Summit. And then you cut a couple wires going to the IAT in the MAF and wire it up to the new sensor
