The Rebuild (TMS 370/76mm/cam)
#1
So I ordered a 370 from Thompson motorsports to replace my damaged 5.3.
And a cam and for vvt/dod delete kit. And ls9 head gaskets. And I have ARP head bolts too.
The cam is a 226i/232e .578/.587 112+3.
Good can choice for a 370 with a 76mm hey?
And the shop that tuned the truck came through. They will retune for free.
All in all I'm pretty excited.
I see other guys making 650+ rwhp with similar setups.
Can I expect that?
Turbo is a trick stage 3 kit. 76mm/.81ar magnum journal bearing.
91 octane and will be spraying Meth. And hopefully will have a 3000rpm stall in there.
Any ideas on what kinda power we can safely squeeze out of her?

Stock vortec truck intake.
Why?
We made 425rwhp and 485ftlbs at 10 psi on 91 octane stock 5.3.
I figured I'd only get to 500 Rwhp with the new setup. Few ponies for the extra cubes and a few ponies with the cam.
