Ready to boost the 5.3!

I would vote for the TVS! I've just seen a lot more reports of work and problems with turbos. There cool but I would prefer the reliability of a magnacharger. I see no reason you can't get into the 13's with one as long as you have traction.

Send him a PM, on this board his name is Farmtruc. He does do good work. He mailorder tuned my truck, then I bought HPTuners from him and I've been tweaking it for about the last year now.

Well nelson performance finally called me back he said he can package a complete front mount 76 master power and air to water cooler for under $5000 tuning the whole nine yards![IMG]http://www.ls1truck.com/newstorage/pics/Avalanchefrontmount/IMG_

Don't take this the wrong way, but you sound very uninformed at this point. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment if you plan to go with a turbo setup. I even consider myself to be very mechanically inclined and my turbo build has me nervous. If you do it right, it can be as reliable as a supercharger setup, but it's much easier to build a cheap turbo kit and that's where people run into problems.
