Default Radix guys please

Ok, anyone have documented gains when adding e-fans and the 90mm throttlebody/J-tube mod?

I have to think at least 1.5 tenths if not 2????

I gained 30 rwhp with the 90mm TB and about a little over a tenth in the 1/4. I didnt notice a gain with the efans.

Very nice! Did it pick up more then one mph? Seems like you would gain at least two mph... thanks for the info

I've been curious about the gains of both mods as well. I'm also interested to know if the people that have seen gains from the 90mm TB and J-Tube swaps can confirm if their TBs are opening all the way.

After reading that thread about many 90mm TBs not opening all the way I'm wondering if there's even more HP left on the TB in getting it to hit WFO (wide f**king open).

I didn't notice any SOTP gains nor improved throttle response with the e-fans, but my a/c cooled down much quicker (in Houston, that's a big deal).

You need to do some more reading as the X-link took care of this issue upon its release.

To the OP, its hard to quantify on my old set-up as I did meth as well however it wasn't much of a gain. Did the 90 help?, sure did however the hype a few years ago about it being a 50HP increase is not likely IMHO.

Your combo went 120 in the 1/4? What was the combo at that point? That's awesome in a heavy truck!

Any guesses? Your truck runs hard. From everyones feedback it seems like at least 1-2 tenths. That would be awesome. I'm also hoping for a little fuel economy from the fan upgrade...

I was wondering the same thing, then Krambo just addressed it.

Hoping for better fuel economy, maybe a smidge more power and better ac doesn't ever hurt---lol!

Do they still sell these kits? Is the tuning side (Electronic Throttle System) of it complex to get these trucks to work with the 90mm tb? I don't think 50hp either, but I'm ok with 45

Oh yeah, didn't notice a change in MPG either with e-fans. And I monitor that at each fill-up religiously. It should pull more CFMs vs clutch fan, which is always good for a Radix with a front mounted h/e and the engine itself.

That sucks! Should have spent the 500 on the tb/j-tube...
