radix? good for DD

no need for a lvl5 80e IMO. a lvl5 6e should be good enough or if you want an 80e, a stock 80e + shift kit would work too

The Radix is CARB (California Air Resources Board) certified, and CA law apparently allows for no more than 7 psi boost. I can dig up the web site that says so if you wish. If you don't live in CA you can install smaller pulleys and raise boost. I have been running 10 psi on my 4.8 for about the last 50K miles and have had no problems, but ymmv. Most people seem to have problems if they go above 12 psi unless great care is taken. BTW I highly recommend getting one, especially for towing. Believe me, you won't regret it. But please don't be cheap. Spend the money and get the intercooled version.

Radix is the only blower I would consider in the reliable section. The fit and finish is OEM quality. If I were you I'd get the 6L swap done first then add the radix. I have a 6L /radix combo on the Tahoe. I'm sure its great for towing all though I've never bothered to tow anything
