Default Radix Fuel Pump

Just wondering for those who have done it, is it better to remove the bed or to drop the tank for the fuel pump install?

You are probably going to get an equal amount of replies either way.
If you have access to a lift than drop the tank. If you have 3 buddies to help than lift the bed

I dont really have access to a lift. I could get a few guys to help lift off the bed. If i drop the tank, are there any special tools to get the assembly out of the tank?

No special tools. I dropped the tank myself and put it back myself with basic tools. Even with a 1/4 tank its still heavy so try to have less than that if possible.

just make sure you use a brass punch to remove the lock ring around the pump module (unless you have the proper tool)......otherwise you are looking for a big boom!
