Radix Contacting bracket: Pics Inside

Does anyone else's mp112 snout contact this bracket? Mine never did before, but i just noticed that it does while changing my oil today.

Are you talking about the support bracket for the Radix snout?

I assumed it was some sort of safety bracket if the snout happened to break, but yes. You can see where it's digging into the coat of the snout in the pics.

It should contact it. It should be adjusted to come up snug to the bottom of the snout. It is the support.

hahah oh. lol. I didnt see any specification of that in the manual and it had never contacted before. Ill be sure to move it up now.

yeah, i know that, but i didnt know it was supposed to contact it. I guess i was just too tired at that point of the installation to figure it out. thx for the help all.
