I've been through the wiring 100 times, replaced and soldered terminals and such. this is the only code that sets. only on start-up. one truck is running I can clear the code and it won't reset untill I restart.

The only relevant test that does not run continuously is the minimumTP voltage. It only runs once at keyup. It could be out of range if there is something preventing the blade from closing fully. e.g. misaligned throttle blade, dirt causing the blade to stick, or some other interference. Has the TB been modified or dismantled?

Thats what I was thinking when I first read your problem.

when i tried a truck 90mm tb it wouldnt work and it would go into rep mode. i then swithced to a vette 90 and it was worked fine until a while ago .

a known problem like drx said is the wiring near the stock tb connector , the wires will appear to be fine but you have to actually pull on them becasue what happens is the copper inside the wire insulation is what breaks the insulation will be fine .

Looks like the specs are a little different (and more detailed) for the '05s. Might come in handy for the next gen X-Links. You are corrrect about the .1 sec for the TPS2 signal voltage test.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The TP sensor 2 signal voltage is less than 0.28 volts, or more than 4.6 volts, for more than 0.1 second. OR

***• The TP sensor 2 minimum throttle blade position is less than 0.28 volts, or more than 0.81 volts, for less than 1 second. OR

The 5-volt reference circuit of the TP sensor 2 is less than 0.5 volts for more than 0.01 second.

I've replaced the factory connector twice to no avail. I think I have a crappy module based on the fact that all the position sensor readings zero out on a stored Tech II snapshot. I put a new module on this morning so I'll see how it goes. Thanks for all the input!!

Now I am wondering if anyone else has done the TAC module swap on an 05 truck. We know it doesn't work for the 06's.

I've gone almost 2 weeks w/ no problems now. couple of hot to cold and rainy days which I know would have caused this to reoccur. New 02 box cured it all. Wish I wouldn't have waited past my part warranty to get another module, thanks for the input.
