so if it is a head gasket what would I have done wrong then? I only have like 2k miles on sence I put the ls1 mls gaskets in and arp head studs on, and tuned like stated above, from my research on here and ls1 tech this setup should eat 25+psi on e85... the over heat has been the only incident iv had, been rather safe with the tuneing.

Just to clear up what it seems some are saying. A head gasket is not a ticking time bomb. they dont care how many miles your car has. if something goes wrong (overheat, boost spike, too lean, detonation, improper install, etc) the head gasket can become damaged. just because its new does not mean you cant break it. so chances are if you are having this sort of issue something did go wrong and now you have found the result. lots of boost, timing, and nitrous dont add up to a safe combo. so a tune just a little off could cause failure.
had to clear up the thouht that a new head gasket was indestructable!

Building boost to 25 psi and spraying on 18 psi are two totally different things. Usually spray is used to build cylinder pressure to help spool a turbo faster. If you put even a 50 shot on top of 18 psi or even over 15 psi you could instantly had the equivalent of 30+ psi in the cylinder even for a split second. If that's what happened I'm betting you lifted a head. In which case I'd pull it start over...
