I’ve seen 9 psi in the scan gauge. A little surprised it’s that much. Exhaust may still be restrictive at higher RPM’s.
Installed a Carven progressive cat back system with a Vigilant resonator. Maximum boost is now about 8psig.

just logged my new setup

2015 5.3 with tvs1900, kooks longtubes and catted y pipe, carven catback. Stock pulley.

3.9psi

anyone know a real world psi gain from a griptec of the same size? The log doesn't look like I'm slipping so maybe nothing? I want to get it back up around 5.5 psi. If I get a griptec and pulley down .2, is that getting me where I want?

If its the same size you wont see a gain.

Damn that boost is low!

Stock pulley tho meaning 3.4 or 3.7..? If I remember correctly... My old 1900 came with a 3.7 i had 4 psi, with the 3.4 I might of had 6.

I know my stock 6.0 to my 408 with a 2300 I see 2 psi in the difference. I had 12 psi, now see 10. That's with a grip Tec 3.2 8 rib.

I have pretty much the same setup except I dont have cats. With a 87mm(~3.4) pulley I was around 5 psi. That was the pulley my tvs1900 came with. I pulley'd down to a 81mm(~3.2) and seen around 8 psi. Look at the back of the pulley, magnuson puts their sizes in mm. Ill sell you the 81mm if you want I went to a smaller pulley again.

I put Matt's 81mm pulley on, stock was 87mm. Boost is up to 6.6 at max, bigger change than I expected. Going to call it good here.

Ive got Flatbalck83's old tvs1900 with a 3.4 on my stock 4.8 with long tubes and a LS2 throttle body. I also have a full length exhaust with NNBS muffler and resonator but I have a Cutout were the y pipe merges. With the cutout closed I see 6-7psi with the cutout open I see 5-6psi.

Got a griptech 2.8 coming this week. =D

I was actually wrong before I thought I remembered the original pulley was a 3.4 it was actually a 3.7.

Just installed my griptech Level 3 2.8 6 rib pulley and I am seeing 13psi. Its a whole new animal couldnt be happier!

I have an 08 sierra denali 6.2 with a tvs1900 and 3.1 pulley (3.1 came with kit). When i first installed it, truck was completely stock with blower and made around 6psi. I now have 90mm TB, 1 7/8 longtubes, and dual 3" exhaust and boost dropped down to about 5psi. Wondering where yall think i would be at if I install 10% overdrive pulley and 2.8 blower pulley? hoping for around 10psi.

I'm thinking of the same setup. Power bond overdrive crank balancer and pulley down to the 2.8 myself. Just thinking I should go ahead and go 8 rib trying to make 12 to 14 lbs...
