Pulley down or E85?

Ok, here's my take on the subject. Put the injectors in, pulley down and get the boost. Tune for E85 and drop your shift points to where your just about out of injector (5800rpm ???). Use the HUGE, table top looking torque curve a PB blower has to your advantage, but lower your max RPM, you will gain a lot of head room with you fuel system with less rpm. Basicly you'll be crutching it till you can upgrade your fuel system and still get the max out of both mods,

Thanks guy's. That's what I did with my dads 72 Chevy 4x4 that I put a 5.3 in and turboed. It was a FF motor and I just used the stock FF injectors and logged IDC. Set the boost to 7 psi and then adjusted the shift points till the injectors where almost done. He loves it!

Filled up with E85 last night for the first time ever. Exciting! Have to keep the rpm's down since I am still on the stock injectors; but below 3000rpm, it feels a little quicker. Can't wait to see what will happen once the bigger injectors go in and some timing added

So took yall's advice, getting the 47# Ford Racing injectors modified into 75# (at my fp) which should support 650bhp on E85 (leaving room in case I want to add a cam later on). Spoke with Jon at Fuel Injector Connection, and that's what he recommended. Cost is $200 (less than selling the Ford's and buying a 75# Bosch set) and he said the Ford's are going to be the best quality injectors I can buy for my needs.
Putting them in the mail to him tomorrow or Saturday, so hopefully headers, injectors, pulley, E85 tune, fp gauge installed and crank pinned before Christmas!
