Default PT7685 GT42 Style on 5.3

Any thoughts or suggestions on this turbo for a 5.3?

PTE's PT7685 "GT42 Style" Turbocharger features the following:

• Exclusive CEAŽ (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) compressor wheel machined from a 2618-aluminum forging
• Air-cooled, dual ceramic ball-bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA)
• Higher efficiency and faster transient response for maximum power and performance
• 76mm inducer compressor wheel
• “GT42 style” compressor cover with V-band discharge
• 85mm turbine wheel
• Turbine housing options:
- T4 Divided 1.12, or 1.28 A/R with 4 5/8” V-Band discharge

Why not the PT76/75 GT42 style? The exhaust is a little smaller to help that 5.3 spool it quicker. It's the same CEA type turbo with ceramic ball bearings.

From what I understand Back Pressure is the #1 enemy of becoming more efficient on any given turbo setup. I was only considering the turbine size.. I'm sure the 4-5/8" V-band would considerably reduce Back Pressure on the PT7675 GT42 style.

Maybe the PT7685 GT42 style would be more appropriate on a 6.0 liter? ...And the PT7675 GT42 style on a 5.3?

You cant go wrong with either.. but that 85mm turbine is gonna take a second to get in boost. but should have a sweet top end pull.

I'm sure it's nothing a 2-step wouldn't fix.
