Procharger w/wastegate article in GMHTP
GM High-Tech Performance magazine has an article this month where Joe Borschke, a Troy, MI Tuner, used a Tial 44mm wastegate to limit the boost on a D-1SC equipted 2010 LS3 Camaro. He plumbed the Tial between the D-1SC and the FMIC and reduced the pulley from a 4.75" to a 4.0" and pick up 60+ ft lbs of torque under the curve.
You'll have to pick up a copy to actually read the article but I added some scans below. IMO, GMHTM is the best magazine out there on forced induction LSx motors so you should all be subscribing to it. :D http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h...vor/img006.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h...vor/img007.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h...vor/img005.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h...vor/img008.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h...vor/img009.jpg Rick |

I've heard its harder on the blower's transmission. Also been told that a restrictor on the blower inlet is better for this (at lower blower speeds its less of a restriction, and more up top). There is a shop that has one that has opens up differently for different boost levels (like per gear).
