possible new future set up. (need help)
ok here is the deal. i'm thinking about changing thing up in the tahoe. here is what i want to do. take the 5.3 out and stroke it and make it a 363. that a 4" stroke with a 3.8" bore. that would give me a lot of cyl wall for strength. this will be topped off with the current p/p'd ls6 heads i have and a nnbs intake mani and 90mm tb. the cam will stay 215/218 595/605 lsg i have now. then i want to remove the single and go twins on the factory flipped manifolds.
so the question is which turbo's. here are my goals i have set for it. on the street i want to maintain the current 10psi i cruise with every day already. now for track days my goal is 900-1000whp. (yes i know its a tahoe) the thing is, being that this thing is heavy i want them to spool rather fast. but i would like them to do it with out a **** ton of back pressure on the motor. I will be staying with a 3200 stall like i have now but will be going to a 4l80e with a 9.5" 14bolt.
from what i have figured and plotted it seems that a pair of 6265 turbonetics turbos would do this job. but i'm not sure how close to there limit i would be. the way i have been plotting is using the full pressure ratio but only half the flow. is this the correct way to do it? should i go with 6665? maybe a .82 A/R in a t4 housing?
thanks for the help if i have left any info out just ask i can post it up.
