possible boost issues

Have you thought of a wastegate with a boost controller? Just pulley down to about 18psi and set the controller to 12psi. the wastegate will bleed off the extra boost. Boost might drop a little but will come back quick. Just search for procharger and wastegate. This is what I'm planning to do once I get my procharger. And you want your afr around the 11.5-11.8. 12+ is way to lean with that much boost.

Also, simply running a smaller pulley and using a wastegate "works", but has negatives in regards to impeller speed (ie, max engine rpm) and supercharger efficiency.

.. honestly I think I had my mind on another thread where the guy was self tuning for the first time on a boosted motor and got that thread and this one confused...sorry bout that, not sure what I was thinking LOL

thanks for the input. im staying with the procharger for sure. the kit came with a 8# pully org. and i opted to put a 12# on. the org. red line is still 5K rpms. when it gets tuned again i want it to go to 6K if they can with will put the boost to 16#s. i was told the engine would be good to 7K and handle 16#s. so at 7K rpm would put me at 20#s. lol would be nice but dont think it will hold not to mention the 42# injectors, i dont think they will be big enough for that.
