On the dyno you generally don't have it pinned from a stop past 110 MPH. They will be shorter bursts which wouldn't hear up the blower as much

You better leave it where it's at , till you can upgrade the trans / converter.

Then I would bump her up to 12 psi , along with said trans mods she will be an animal .

In my opinion your not at a point where you need a spacer yet , I would do that down the road when/--after you up the boost , or if your bored this winter .

I don't think the gains are as relevant till you turn up the boost. Granted my spacer is only 5/8"

I lost about .5lb with mine but I also ported the lower manifold at the same time. Spacer or not you will notice from 10-12 psi. Is your setup overdriven or not? What pulley are you running? Just trying to get a idea of how much air you are actually moving. Boost level doesnt really say much.

Wouldn't meth or a small shot of nitrous make much more sense for $500!?! I am assuming it insulates and lengthens the runners into the head so should help with a bit of top end power?

1st off Phenolic is expensive.
2nd the CNC time is also expensive.

Yes more boost or some nitrous would do the same, however by optimizing the setup you are not increasing the stress on the motor. I did mine because I was able to obtain phenolic on my own and wanted to more or less experiment for my own knowledge.
