Default Peak and hold injector driver

I installed an Acceleronics Versafueler (peak and hold low/high z injector driver) and big 72# (86.6# at 58psi) low impedance Delphi injectors this weekend.

I gotta say that if you are running big injectors, you want one of these. You can run it with high or low impedance injectors and it makes a huge difference in idle. I ran it with both the 60# high z and the new injectors -- both sets idle well, and the 60#ers idle better than they did without it.

Overall, its a nice kit -- great instructions, nice compact design. The install was simple (clip 8 wires -- the injector ground wires -- and splice in the leads for the versafueler, attach the ground and 12v cranking leads, and mount the kit... easy peasy).

So far, I love the delphi injectors with this kit. The truck idles better than the motos did -- almost like my wifes stock av... All this with stock injector offset tables.

Cool

Erik,Thanks for telling us about the driver it sounds great.

Now all I have to do is remember about it when I upgrade to 60# injectors.

Sweet. Nice to know it works well if the 60's aren't going to be enough for me
