Whats up guys. Im installing a low mile LS6 motor and maggie mp112 iny 06 rcsb this coming weekend and need some input from boost vets. I have read a lot of conflicting posts on thermostats, but im wondering if I should run a 160º or the 180º. My truck is an 06 so it has electric fans already.
Next is plugs, I am thinking the ngk tr6's. Any input on whats best and gap size? Would .35 be correct?
The motor is gonna be stock internally and the blower is going to have the 3.2 on it, or whatever magnacharger sends with it. I have arh with high flow y pipe. Other than that I might do the 90mm throttle body. The truck is a flexfuel so I was told I dont need to use the fuel pump from magnacharger. (Bought the kit used with a new pump included). What do yall think of that?
Texas gets pretty hot in the summer so I want to keep it conservative incase it ever needs be daily driven. Any input is welcome. Thanks.

Either thermostat will be fine. I believe magnacharger supplies a walbro 255 with its kits and a ton of people run E85 through them without any problems. I would definitely run the maggie pump vs the stock one.

Cool. I dont really plan to run E85 since there is only like one spot locally that sells it.
Also had another question on throttle bodies. Does the tbss 87mm work with my factory plug or will I need the xlink to run that? I have a brand new gold blade 90mm I bought, but I dont know if itll fot under the cf joe gibbs cover I wanna use. Also I havent bought an xlink for it so I may just sell it amd get a tbss "90mm". I want to install it with the 90mm jtube from the start to not hassle with it later, but my stock tb is the three bolt dbw I believe.

Run NGK BR6EF plugs, that is a Non Projected TR6. Gap depends on boost but to be safe I would suggest .032
I would run a 160 thermostat, you will find that it will run closer to 175ish anyway. I have never found the 180 to make a whole lot of difference in engine temp.
A 3.2 on a LS6 is not going to be a whole lot of boost so you are going to end up changing the pulley most likely, depends on what you are looking for.

Cool, ill check autozone and oreillys tomorrow to see if I can get some locally. I'm only lookin to make about 500whp. Not sure how close ill come with the 3.2 pulley, but I wanna start off mild until I get a 14 bolt and a 4L80.
