Its not the ET that will eat you up on the street, its the MPH, they trap HIGH. WIth you being a 2wd its not really going to matter how much power you make unless you get way on up there where you can chase him down at almost triple digits and by then youre talking 600+ to the tires. More power in your truck on the street isnt necessarily going to make it a ton faster. All the 2wds making good power are burnout queens under 60mph. On the track I think youve got a chance on some good tires and little more power under the hood.

Hey, just my .02 cents here, but the two vehicles are built to serve two completely different purposes. I bet your truck is fast. Not as fast as his z06, but he can't tow a boat, atv, trailer, go mudding, etc. I bet you can still kick the **** out of most any lightning or srt10 that lines up against you.

When we ran the other day if I wasnt spinning so bad I dont think he would have walked me as bad. And one a side note the little 5.3 isnt doing so bad, little over 400rwhp, and that through a 80e, 3200 stall and 22" wheels.
There are a couple in the 10s low 11s at almost 130 with a damn good driver, I think youre outgunned with your current setup.

What configuration is your truck? Can't tell from the pics. RCSB with around 400rwhp should put you in the mid-high 12's I think. You've got a long ways to go to get 11.80's or better.

Please film. ...the loss.

If you're running triple digits as Cody suggested, hope 5.0 is eatin donuts.

I just wanna outgun a C5 Z06 when I'm done. The 385HP vers. is OK for me. I'm hoping the Maggie doesn't need a whole lot of "ancillary" parts.

You guys are goin after the bigger fish.
