Hasn't happened again yet, however, I started experiencing the erratic fuel level gauge that I have read about.

Could this be from something as simple as my air filter?
It collapsed slightly recently and the above mentioned issues have increased greatly in frequency since...

Mine does it as well. Usually at 35mph or 45mph. Steady cruise. The TC locks and unlocks every second or so. Very annoying. I'm still ytring to tune it out.
