Default Normal amount of coolant use?

I installed my turbo kit back in April/May and this morning the low coolant light came on. The coolant was at the correct level at the time of the install and I never added coolant since. I have LS9 gaskets and ARP studs, pushing around 9-11psi and 16 deg of timing. I hit that boost 1-2 times a day and only for a few seconds each. There's no visible external leaks, it feels great, no odd smells or white smoke out the exhaust. Oil looks good also.

Is there a "normal" amount of acceptable coolant use on a turbo vehicle? I feel like it shouldn't use any at all.

I'm going to top off the coolant today and we'll see how long it takes to drop again.

I would check under neath the truck, where the heads meet the block. When I started to push 18+psi on stock bolts, mine had a very small leak there towards the firewall side of the engine, but never mixed with oil or smoked.

Outside of that, I don't use any coolant. You have a 25-50% coolant mix/water? Or straight dex?

It could have burped an air pocket out of the system after a while of being put back together from the head gasket install. Just a thought.

It's around a 50/50 mix.

I looked all over and didn't see any leaks, I'll check again today.
