I guess first question I have is what benefit would I have going E85 VS 93 other then being able to run more boost? With more boost Im going to guess more HP but are we talking like 93=750RWHP VS E85=900RWHP? These are just kind of numbers trying to see what the real benefit is.

I dont know of to many E85 gas pumps in my area and can see where it would be a huge problem on road trips.

Thanks for your help.

Yea if it is going to be a pain in the *** to run E85, then do not run it. Once you are tuned for E85, you can't just put pump gas in it and drive down the road. Unless you add a ethanol content sensor, then its a different story.

The E85 will allow more timing to be run and keep cylinder temps cooler than regular pump. It really is some bad *** stuff. But I have tried it, loved it, and then left it because of the MPG's and having to plan out every trip to the gas station. I decided to go with pump and meth.

Passed on the TC78 as was told more then a few times its not a good setup. So since new pistons and cam are already ordered Turbo build is still on and now need to find a turbo.

Welcome to all suggestions.

What RPM does it come into boost now? Would it be bad for DD?

Looking at a s475 as seems like a great price for a turbo that will reach my HP goals.

The s480 or s475 with a 92mm turbine wheel would be a good choice.

Those are the best looking Diamonds I have ever seen....

I am working on similar build as my truck already has a fresh LQ4 in it.

Im thinking about pulling it, replacing rods and pistons and bolts. Going with head studs, different cam and undecided on turbo as of now. But it will run on 91 with meth most likely.

Subd for this build looks like fun!

Yeah kind of where i was, I wasn't very happy with the power of the 370.dont get me wrong the thing has power and can drift corner but i want more. Thought about Stroking it but this seems like a better HP gain for the money.
