did anybody ever figure out a fix for the nnbs 87mm tb closing under boost? some tried going to car tb's but they open the wrong way and cause a loss in power. is there a stronger tb that opens the correct way for the nnbs manifolds?

 

Ls7 TB has a stronger blade motor. I've read some guys using them on there TBSS with boost and problem solved. Just have to have a X-link. Hope this helps

 

I never even heard of this. My T/B is working fine and is 100% stock.

 

there are quite a few guys that had issues with the tbss tb closing under boost. but when going to the car style they open up the wrong way and it was shown on the dyno to loose power. it directs the air differently.

 

I wonder if they went to a different motor on the L92 tb's cause I'm happy to say that I don't have any of those issues. Maybe guys with these problems should try borrowing a tb from a friends L92 to see if it fixes their problem.
