Default Nitrous Vs. Radix

Probably a torn path already, but I am curious. Given the same engine conditons, but one with a 150 shot of nitrous and another with a radix 112, which would be faster in the 1/4 mile?

150 hp is 150 hp, difference is nitrous hits ALL at ONCE while the blower will come on really fast it's not as instantaneous. You also need to refill the bottle while the blower is always on. I have both, blower for the road, bottle for the track, i do ok

nitrous = part time power
FI = full time power

oh yeah, nitrous is only on at WOT while the radix is on whenever you need it, partial throttle too.

Idiots could spray at partial throttle too.

I figured an admin of a HUGE performance sight like this one would know that...

But on the topic. I spent all the money for the plate kit, and the good custom hoses, and all the wireing, then all this, and some more of that. Then when is was all said and done. I was honestly kinda disapointed. FI feels WAY WAY WAY WAY better SOP i guess i like the fact that it can some on partially and all out like Bill said.

On my old truck, it was running high 12s with a 100 shot. Then installed Radix and removed nitrous and ran a 12.3. I probably could have gotten the nitrous times down some, but was plenty happy after the radix. As it was said several times above, part throttle power and "always on" is the real benefit with the radix.

Let me rephrase the question. If I was to race my magnacharged truck against a similar truck that has only a 150 shot of nitrous, who would win in the quarter mile? I know all the advantages of the radix compared to nitrous... I love my radix, plus it´s tuned by Nelson, so it does pretty goodĦĦ

Assuming traction is not an issue, if he can spray out of the hole, he will probably edge you out because like Bill said in post #2, his 150hp hits immediately while you have to build up boost. If yall race, video tape it and post it up.
