If you have the whipple then just measure the inlet diameter.

It's not. It necks down. I've researched them all as I have a Nick Williams 102mm throttle body myself for my Lysholm. I was thinking I could use the Whipple inlet on my Lysholm but the bypass valve location is different, plus Mike at New Era told me himself that he had to grind it to open it up when I bought the throttle body from him.

YES, you WILL have to open it up. You also will need to separate the upper and lower parts of the blower to remove the J tube in order to port it. Comes apart easy though.

Here is a picture of mine after it was enlarged to 102mm.

You should take it apart to be 100% sure. People have left them assembled and ground the aluminum with a vacuum cleaner right next to the burr catching every bit that comes off of it. You could also blow compressed air from farther down the tube to blow every bit of aluminum out while you are grinding. You could also stuff the pipe full of clean rags so the aluminum couldnt make it down the pipe.

When I did mine, I did it on the truck. I layed down sheets covering the entire engine bay like a doctor does when they operate lol, then I stuffed the inlet with a towel. before I opened up the inlet, I installed the 102mm throttle body, manually opened the blade, then used a sharpie marker to layout the area of material that needed to be removed. I had one of my employees hold the shop vac positioned to where the chips were going as I ground it out, then I removed the towel when I was finished and it was all set, no issues. If you are running 12 psi or more, expect at least 1 more psi and 20+ hp from this mod. We make a 4 inch 1 piece direct fit CAI for your set up if you don't already have one, which works well with the 102mm throttle body as well.
