NGK tr6 spark plugs?

In that case I might gap them tighter. Spark has a higher tendency to blow out in a higher pressure and temperature environment.

I'd gap them tight. Also, I've never noticed any difference between TR55s to the BR7EFs in how the engine ran.

I ran BR7EF at .032" and was having blow out issues when I tried to go above 12 psi. But, when I pulled the plugs I did find #8 @ .035". Got a new set and am going to run them out of the box (.022-.024")

i dont mean to highjack but i wonder if this is my issue, running .038" gap, rough as hell idle, in boost it breaks up

time to play with it tomorrow

I run tr6s in mine, opened the box and put them in.

TR6's are all that I run in my SC'd vette. No problem in over 5 years. Now I've changed them a time or two, mostly because I'm OCD, not because I needed to.

sounds like that may be your issue, that gap is a bit high

I've had great luck with C6 Corvette LS7 ACDELCO Part # 41104 iridium spark plugs. GM also uses them on all their supercharged engines and there is a rebate available right now. They are the same heat range as NGK TR6.
