that part of frame does nothing but hold a bumper on. i a wreck tis going to give anyways. so no real point

Ya, it's designed to be crush zone. The intercooler is now crush zone too,

True!!! , I boxed mine in just because people would ask why if I didn't. makes it look more factory. I'd hate to be in a fatal crash and the insurance folk tell my wife, "Sorry Mrs. Horne, we can't pay for your husband's negligence".

I agree about the crush zone, no need to reinforce. Looks good 1BADAZZSS


And slowec if your wife is anything like mine she wouldn't be talking about truck insurance she would go straight for the life insurance agent.
