I have no idea what I make HP wise, allot more then stock. Stock my engine was rated at 325/375 or something like that. Latest track times from last year are in my sig, changed allot since then but when I ran those times the truck with me in it was around 6100#
My setup is more involved then just a blower on a stock motor.

If you do a basic intercooled turbo setup, you should see gains of 120-150hp or so at 6-7psi. Obviously this will be a very noticeable power increase.

im not planning to go all out. headers, intake, turbo set up, that's about as complex as i'd want to get for now. maybe a cam and stall further down the road but for now i want to keep it simple. i originally was going to run bigger gears but i read somewhere that turbos dont like big gears so ill look into that some more.

You dont want headers with a turbo, and forget about the intake. For what you want to do a normal front mount turbo will fit the bill just fine.

Well headers will have to be removed to put the front mount turbo kit on, and a different intake is pointless unless you plan to go all out for High HP numbers. They are many people running stock intakes and making great #'s. Tuning is going to be required for the turbo as is fuel system upgrades. As far as engine mods I would do the turbo first and see what you think.

I would just give one of the guys I mentioned a call, they are both very helpfull and will be able to better answer your questions concerning the kits that they produce. Both of these sponsors are also active members here that can help you out.
