Brian,
Are you privileged to the IAT's of that car after a 30 minute track session?
Not to hijack...I like the maggie vs whipple debate.

Let me say that I agree the magnacharger offers a more user friendley kit for making power.
But if you are a broke **** such as I am
So here's my penny
I am running a two belt whipple kit on a 4.8l 01 silverado.
This kit used was 1100 off craigslist
500 dyno tune
250 injectors Thanks 03sierraslt
3 3/8 pulley @9.5psi no intercooler
Put me at 432rwhp runnig out of fuel pump up top so got cut short but whatever on that excuse
and at 4900lbs race weight turned a 13.4 at 104
with a 2.1 60ft.
I have since put on a 3 1/4 pulley (Thanks to Mcgyver) and locker (Thanks sprayinls1 who has also ran 11's with this kit)
And can say with out a doubt this truck wll pull a solid 12 with traction
I also have a spearco air to air pending install with a 2 7/8 pulley.
So I will post up results when the bugs are worked out and the intercooler installed.
Disclaimer
(By bugs I am not infering getting rid of the whipple)

I have an Idea, how about everyone interested in whipples feedback drop Jeff, Mike, Art or whoever they want over at Whipple Industries a friendly email link to this thread. See if anyone pops their head in. I would post up Email addy's....but I dont know if thats a good idea
. Seriously though, tell them there is some smack talk and a personal "call out" from some maggy guys. Run the flag up at Whipple and see who salutes so to speak! Personally i would LOVE to see a Whipple rep poke his head in and say a few words. Has there ever been a Whipple rep who has posted in this forum? It would be very cool for one of those guys to lend a little info out about thier product, answer some questions, put a few rumors to rest, etc. SEND THEM AN EMAIL!!!

Werd, thats what I am doing, not messing around anymore. I just want something that no one else can just buy and have the same thing I have. But I still wanna make good power.
But, I will say I did own a mp112, bolted it on in one night, ran great on the truck, made a huge difference. Very good for bolt on power and for a DD you dont have to worry about anything, reliability is def there. For your average person, its great upgrade and well worth the time and money.
