If that ends up being the case for me as well then I will back it down. The problem you mention is the first I've heard of it, care to expound?

Zippy & I will be putting either a 2.8 or 3.0 pulley on my Radix and then doing the Alky Control meth kit to keep the temps down.
Thank you, I will be pinning the crank using Magnuson's kit. After you have the Meth dailed in, I'll need some info as far as usage. Such as how many gallons per say, you go through in X amount of time. Trying to ballpark it.

Is it a two peice screwed together? The reason I ask is all the screws in the face.
Looks like more power for you, which will mean you will need even....... MoreGrip!! Haha get it...hahaha.
I'll take some shots of the backside for you this weekend. Yes the aluminum damper bolts to a steel sleeve. In the future, crank damper removal will simply be unscrewing a few bolts. The same goes for the power steering pulley.

MJ said it earlier, your taking the Radix to the limit and beyond. Keep up the great work.

Richard

That is a great looking setup and should help with belt slipage! We really need to get together so you can show me some of these great projects you have been doing. Have a great day!

How's the clearance to the waterpump pulley?I know it would be really tight with a Evans waterpump.

I notice its keyed

I havent really kept up with how much problem that is
for the FI guys as far as the pulley slipping,
but makes pretty good sense,
esp with the larger pulley

looks good

good question.

it will clear the stock waterpump, but just barely, and something I am not comfortanle with, so I will be uprading to the full Evans system. The Evans water pump would equal the same clearance as the stock arrangement. 5 3/4" is the stock WP pulley size, 5 1/4" is the Evans WP pulley size. According to Evans, with the 8" crank pulley and their 5 1/4" water pump I will be right in the sweet spot of their specification for street driven vehicles, about 17% overdriven.

Thanks Kano

The keyed pulley is if I decide to go to an aftermarket crank in the future. I will be using the Magnuson pinning kit on my current setup.
