So tonight I was driving my truck and anytime I get over about 5 pounds of boost it starts to pop through the exhaust and on decel it is even worse. I am thinking possibly an exhaust gasket? Also at about 7 psi the boost bounces really bad. I have a custom get mount and normally run about nine psi. And while this is happening my wideband is reading between 10.5 and 11.7 I am supposed to be getting it tuned Monday. But that won't work if I can't get it running right first. Any ideas.

 

Sounds like a wastegate problem.

 

I found out my fiancee put 87 octane gas in my truck. I guess that would do it

 

 

Personal rule #1: Do not let the wife drive the truck.

 

That's a NO-NO.... but she's learned her lesson?

 

She could have put diesel in it......
