MP only makes a .68 and .96 A/R housing to fit the P Trim wheel, but most any Garret style P-trim housing will bolt to them.

P-Trim seems really small for a 76, IMO.

Cuz Dr Turbo says a P-trim is to small to drive a 76mm wheel

Yes, they do... they still sell yesterday's technology. Why not, when alot of people still buy it ... and guys looking for more power in the same package have opted for Q-Trim wheels... now replaced by S-Trim which is even bigger along with wheel design improvments. Options continue to improve from the same suppliers that offer T76/P-Trim turbo's... well, at least most of them.

Some guys may have to go through more than 1 turbo trying to determine best size (with or without options) for their application. I did. And I plan on a 3rd size when I change the engine from a 5.3 to a 5.7. A/R sizing, turbine wheel sizing, compressor sizing, more ***** to turn... which is what I love about turbo's.

the only reason im swapping out my t70 was because of heat..it is out of it's effieciency up top and heats up pretty good other wise i was completely happy with it....i want about the same or a lil more power along with less heat from this t76 so i will see how everything goes with it this coming week...and the price wasnt bad either for a quality turbo...

Keep us posted on the results. I'm sure you'll be happy. If you can try and measure back pressure between the exhaust valve and the turbine wheel before and after the swap. Be interesting to see what you would get with the 6L. Based on what Jim (parish8) posted awhile back with a 5.3L and I believe the same MPT70 turbo (with .68 and .96(?)) I'm sure the back pressure is getting up there.
