So in the next month im putting a KB turbo kit on my truck but I have a problem to fix first. The previous owner or a garage the previous owner took the truck to had the passenger side exhaust manifold bolts replaced and they drilled out the first bolt closest to the front of the engine, and they drilled it sideways and blew through the water jacket. I tried siliconing it and it didnt work, tried using liquid teflon and when I went to tighten it the threads stripped out. So its just kind of there a the moment and it drips coolant a little. I found this place on ebay and it seems like a pretty good deal. What I dont know is if it would be ok to have a brand new head bsaically and a 105k mile head on the same engine thats gonna run like 10 lbs of boost.

Yea thatll be fine, but you could probably find a single used head for less than that on some forums.

 

OR, buy a set of 317's and have them rebuilt.

A set usually can be had for around $150.

Everybody on ebay doesnt list the miles on them does it really matter or no?
